We collect certain information or data about you when you use lawsol.co.uk

We collect:

  • questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address if you contact lawsol.co.uk from our Contact Us Page
  • your email address and telephone number if you have left one.

Where your data is stored

When you instruct us to conduct a case on your behalf we will need to ask for information from you.  Some of this information will be held on our Case Management System (CMS).  This includes your name, address, contact details and the nature of the case you have instructed us on.  As well as using this information for contact purposes it is also used to check that there is no Conflict of Interest with anyone else that we may be representing.  For this reason, this information is not normally destroyed. 

Our regulator requires us to retain certain information about all cases we are instructed on for a period up to six years.  After this date you can request that all data we hold that relates to you is destroyed.  In the event that you are unclear or unhappy with what information we retain about you please contact our Data Protection Manager.

Keeping your data secure

Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit. Any data you send is at your own risk.

We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.

Disclosing your information

We may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so.

We won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don’t pass on your details to other websites.
